Two National Industry Standard Drafting Meetings Led by Auxtra Successfully Convened in Fuzhou

On May 27, 2025, Aolan successfully hosted the revision meeting for the national industry standard JB/T 11964 "Fillers for Evaporative Cooling" and the first drafting work meeting for "Wet Film Humidifiers for Data Centers and Communication Equipment Rooms" at Fuzhou Naran Hotel & Hot Springs. The meetings were organized by the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Equipment, China Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Industry Association, and Hefei General Mechanical & Electrical Product Testing Institute Co., Ltd., with Aolan (Fujian) Industrial Co., Ltd. serving as the host. These meetings aimed to establish more scientific and standardized industry guidelines for the evaporative cooling and wet film humidification sectors.

Professor Zhang Mingsheng from Hefei General Mechanical Products Testing Institute Co., Ltd., Chief Expert Zhang Xiuping from Hefei General Machinery Research Institute Co., Ltd., Deputy Secretary-General Ma Jinping from the National Refrigeration Standard Committee, Secretary-General Shao Naiyu from the Shanghai Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Industry Association, Professor Huang Xiang from Xi'an University of Engineering, Vice Dean Qiu Jinyou from the School of Ecology, Environment, and Urban Construction of Fujian University of Technology, Chairman Huang Hualing from Oulan, Chief Engineer Professor He Huaming from Oulan, as well as representatives from Midea HVAC Equipment Co., Ltd., Alibaba Cloud Computing Co., Ltd., Nantong Kunlun Air Conditioning Co., Ltd., Zhejiang Yintek Technology Co., Ltd., and more than ten other industry experts gathered to discuss the formulation of industry standards.

During the meeting, Assistant Chief Engineer Guo Gaiying from Oulan provided a detailed report on the background, progress, and initial draft modifications of two standards. Experts at the meeting engaged in in-depth discussions regarding key issues such as professional terminology, regulatory requirements, test conditions, inspection rules, and data sources in the standards, aiming to ensure that these standards cover various practical industry needs and provide comprehensive guidance.

Constructive suggestions and recommendations were also put forward by experts and leaders at this meeting, contributing to further improving the standards. The development of the two standards will help fill the regulatory gaps in the fields of evaporative cooling fillers and data center wet film humidification, which is of significant importance in enhancing product quality consistency, reducing user selection costs, and promoting industry technological iteration.
