On July 14, 2026, Mr. Manuel C. Menendez, Founder of MCM Holdings and an expert on US-China economic relations, paid a visit to Aolan. Huang Hualing, Chairman of Aolan, and Chen Mingbiao, General Manager of the International Sales Center, accompanied him throughout the tour and exchanges.

Mr. Menendez is among the first group of American business leaders to come to China at the dawn of China’s reform and opening-up. Having engaged in US-China economic and trade cooperation for nearly 50 years, he has witnessed the entire course of China’s reform and opening-up and stands as an iconic figure in the early breakthroughs of US-China economic and trade exchanges. He maintains sound communication with senior political and business leaders of both countries, as well as executives of Fortune Global 500 corporations. He has been interviewed many times by China Central Television (CCTV), Chinanews.com, Global Times and the Center for China & Globalization (CCG), offering insights into trends shaping US-China economy. He has also been invited to deliver lectures on economy and trade at prestigious universities including Tsinghua University and the University of International Business and Economics. He pointed out that educational exchanges serve as a vital bridge to deepen mutual understanding and advance peace. Optimistic about cooperation opportunities unlocked by China’s 15th Five-Year Plan, he firmly believes that the United States and China cannot decouple, with economic and trade ties acting as the cornerstone of bilateral relations. He advocates that China and the US uphold mutual respect, mutual understanding and win-win outcomes, and encourages two-way exchanges among enterprises and young people in education to resolve differences.
In 1980, he facilitated the establishment of China’s first Sino-US equity joint venture between Chinese partners and a Fortune Global 100 enterprise, kicking off an era of in-depth industrial cooperation between the two nations. In 1985, Deng Xiaoping personally bestowed upon him the Chinese name Meng Deshi. Meng derives from the school of thought of Mencius; De symbolizes noble virtue; and Shi embodies the vision of a warrior dedicated to boosting China’s economic development.
Driven by the mission of advancing US-China economic and trade collaboration, Mr. Menendez undertook this visit purely out of recognition of Aolan’s energy-saving and environmentally friendly air conditioning technologies. He toured Aolan’s Fuzhou headquarters and Luoyuan manufacturing base, visiting the corporate exhibition hall, production lines and R&D laboratories, to gain thorough knowledge of Aolan’s full lineup of energy-saving products and their application cases across diverse climate zones worldwide.
Following the on-site inspection, he reinforced his plan to leverage his extensive resources to introduce Aolan products and explore the North American market. During the panel discussion, the two sides reached extensive strategic consensus covering channel development in North America, promotion of green energy-efficient products, and coordinated development of cross-border resources.
This meeting marks a pivotal milestone in Aolan’s internationalization journey, laying solid resource groundwork for the company to further expand its footprint in the global high-end energy-saving market.
